Tionesta?

I am looking for a camp to rent for rifle season in the tionesta or tidioute area. We usually have 4 to 7 people, we dont need any special accommodations just a place to rest our head stove to cook on and a door that locks. If anyone can help us out it would be great.
Thanks

Re: Tionesta?

buckinnuts,
In that area a lot of the old timers seem to be selling out at the same time, might be a good area to pick up a camp
no doubt about it.

Re: Tionesta?

It`s weird about pricing. Tionesta on a whole seams less expensive to buy than right up the river in Tidioute. I was looking for years near Tidioute and it is way overpriced, especially on the river.

Re: Tionesta?

I just bought a house a couple months ago so i will have to wait a few years to buy a camp. my family and i have always hunted up there and rented places. The place we have been staying for the last couple years is really not a winter place and it is a good drive to where we hunt so that is why i am looking

Re: Tionesta?

check landwatch, trulia, pennsads,....craiglist...there was so many...these are just a few...also try typing tionesta pa cabins for sale and there are a ton of realtors etc that show up...I think some prices are going up due to the fact that...it is getting closer to hunting season

Re: Tionesta?

Bac when I was looking for a camp I talked alot with the guys at Howard Hanna Forest Realty in Tionesta. One of the realtors had cabins he rented out, I'm pretty sure is was Marty Taugner. You might give him a call. www.hhforestrealty.com
