I quess sooner or later it was bound to happen. One of my deer cameras was stolen last week. Went to camp on Saturday for the weekend and the first thing I see was the camera was gone. They also took the outside Temperature sensor??????? I quess with all the out of state trafic due to the gas fracking My quiet getaway is no more.

Re: Camp Camera gone

Don't laugh, but I know a guy who is "chipping", his cabin valueables. He got the info. from his veterinarian of all things. I know for sure that many museums are doing this also. If its stolen, your PC will tell you exactly where it is. I have no idea of the cost, but I know its possible.

Re: Camp Camera gone

That's stinks! Just had my first one stolen..went to check it yesterday and it was gone! Like you said sooner or later it was bound to happen. It's a shame but thats just the way it is anymore. Some people just don't care and have no respect for other peoples property

Re: Camp Camera gone

That stinks! I bought the bear boxes and the python cable locks for the ones around my house.

Re: Camp Camera gone

Use a covert mount for your next one and keep it 10-12ft up a tree. An eye level camera with a big black strap around the tree sticks out like a sore thumb.

Re: Camp Camera gone

I was just on Moultrie's web site. The security boxes are on sale for $19.99. I ordered one to check it out.
