Camp break-in alert German Hill Tionesta

Had to meet the linesman from Central Electric when we replaced the meter base at Dad's camp and he told me that the camp just 1/4 mile down the road from us had a break-in where they thouroughly trashed the place. I guess they even destroyed the electrical entrance, that;s why he'd been there.

This was German Hill Rd halfway up the hill out of town. We had a string of these type break-ins (including mine) where the vandalism was way bad back around 98 and they eventualyy caught the creeps. Sure hope this was an isolated incident but thought I'd give anyone in the area a heads up.

Sorry to hear you had trouble rather than an oddity camp brake in, are more the norm these days. I was forced to sell my camp in Crawford County, Between the copper thieves and the kids looking for a place too party and then trash it. I sold the camp and bought a bigger camper. I miss not having a stationary camp. But itís cheaper and less aggravating with the camper.

I'm glad there are some trustworthy locals living near my place.
