This is a shot of the Kiski Rod & Gun Club cabin in God's country. This cabin was built originally around 1860 by settlers of the area.It has been remodeled with a new roof and porch and electricity and well water have been made amenities as well. It is owned by the Yetka family, but many friends and family members are invited to hunt, fish, or just enjoy the beautiful area. I was lucky enough to be taken there for the first time when I was 13 by my uncle for bear season. I now go there every bear season for 5 days and occasionally to flyfish kettle creek. You just can't beat the camaraderie of the great group of guys we hunt with here. 5 days every year about 12 hardcore bear hunters lace up and hike the mountains in pursuit of black bear. We have been very successful the past few years, producing atleast one bear a year for the camp. [img:center][/img]
Vegetarians are cool. All I eat are vegetarians - except for the occasional mountain lion steak.
It's nice to see other places from fellow Cross Fork camp people. I know I've seen that camp a number of times, but I can't recall exactly where it is. Where is it located in the Cross Fork area - it will drive me crazy until I remember (or drive past it again).
