Warren PA and ESPN

Wasn't really sure where to post this. FIgured anyone with a camp in PA's Wilds would appreciate this, especially if you are in the ANF. Next time you see a blue stripped tree give it a high five, the Buccos Andrew McCutchen may be swinging it next summer.

Any bat that wants longevity would be wise to end up on the Bucco's bench. It's almost certain to never have a chance to splinter.

Come on, the Pirate's are not that bad.....

That's actually in the town of Akeley, right? Just before the Cable Hollow golf course?

Not only is my short-term memory horrible, but so is my short-term memory.

Yes. Darn near in NYS.

My BIL gets the scraps from that plant to fire his sugar house and make syrup, and we also use the leftovers to make an extremely hot bon fire at a few "pasture parties", dab of diesel and it is like the sun hit the ground...that stuff burns nice, but is the funniest looking star shaped firewood you will ever see with all the bat blanks cored out of it. Stacking it is like doing a jigsaw puzzle.

Likely the hottest those "bats" will ever be is one bon fire night...LOL

I grew up less than a mile down the road from the place that makes the cores for the bats. They go through a lot of ash trees. Hopefully the Emerald Ash Borer doesn't ruin their business.

Re: Warren PA and ESPN

Bedard has an ERA under 2.5 and is 0-4. The Buccos can't hit.
