Frantzy, I am.

I don't hunt there at all, but shot my first buck there in 1972. I have been a member since 1966, my dad joined in the late 40's, I believe.

I live in Schuylkill County, where are you from?

I love it there, just hunt with non-members, and as you know no guests are allowed for hunting.

Ted, I am from Schuylkill County too.

I am not a member of WALA. My family purchased some property that butts up against WALA land and we have had a terrible time with members trespassing, driving over trees we planted, driving through food plots, knocking down treestands, and making new roads onto our property.

I was doing a search on the club to look for their address to get in touch with them about it, and stumbled onto this site.

Ted, as a member with the club, do you know if they allow other people who are not members onto club properties?

I can't really give you a good answer. I am not at all active in the club. I hunted there once in the last 20 years, a last Saturday with my son a few years ago. I don't know or talk to any other members. Just pay my dues, as where else I am going to be able to join a club that owns 5000 acres for $75/year.

I feel that at least I know that I will always have somewhere to hunt.

Check with your twp. tax collector. If they won't give you a contact for whomever they send the tax bill to each year, then check at the county court house.

Gotcha Ted. I know they have a very large amount of land, which is why we wonder why they won't stay off of ours. I believe its more the local members or maybe just locals altogether, which is why I asked about their trespassing policy. I don't know if they allow others to trespass or not. Our land is surrounded by their land, so someone would have to be trespassing on both their property and ours if they do not allow it.

Thanks Denny. I found their address on an internet search. When I searched for the club name this site popped up as one of the sites google found.

Good luck in your quest and I hope you stick around. I think you'll find this site offers a great deal of information and comraderie.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.
