Clean and green

If you are enrolled in clean and green, does that prevent you from having your property timbered?

If you are enrolled in Clean and Green , you can log . Where it hurts you is when you sell it and you can`t sub- divide it . Check with your local Tax Office they can answer your questions better, but you can log with no problems. Hope this helps.

I believe you can sub-divide, you or the next owner just have to pay the back taxes.

When I signed up In 2001, I was told that you Needed at least 10 acres to enroll and could not build any business or apartments but you could build a new house or barn. I believe It was for a 10 year period.

I am not sure as of today if I am still enrolled since I signed a oil lease in 2010. The county may consider this a business. My property in question has no structures on it and my taxes are only a couple of hundred bucks a year.
