Perry County camp happenings

I thought it was time to start a new Perry County thread. I was up at my cabin over the weekend. The weather was really nice. Had a little rain on Saturday. The leaves are really starting to change, some places more than others. We went to Heritage Days at the Blain picnic grounds on Saturday. Got over there about 10:30. The traffic was terrible, backed up out onto rt. 274. Had to walk a long ways to get in. Parked in the field right after we turned in the road that goes back to the picnic grounds. As soon as we pulled in the field it started raining. Got a little wet walking, but it didnít rain very long and the sun came out later on. A lot of people there. Had some good food but the lines were kind of long at the food stands. Bookís store is finally finished and is really nice. The subs are great. A lot of meat and only $3.99. Itís called Blain Market. We mostly hung out at the cabin, played some cards had a few drinks and watched the Penn State football game. A good weekend at the cabin!!!

If Maw is doing well enough I may be able to sneak up that way for a day or two to chase tails. She has her good and bad days, unfortunately more bad then good. We sold our camp in Mountain View three years ago but one of my friends came to my rescue, "you'll always welcome at my place".
