We have a lot planned, but that's due to the fact we still are not done construction . We still need to finish the floor, bathroom, ceiling, shed, wood shed, deck, all the trim and put blinds up. I'm sure I'm missing a few things, haha.

We have a band area too! We have a Labor Day weekend party for the past 12 years. We have about 200 guest each year. The party consist of a lot of food and a lot of booze, a pig roast, free door prizes for everyone including a grand prize gun, cornhole and volleyball tournaments, fireworks, 75 chinese lanterns, bonfire, and a live band - The Crazy Cowboys, and its all free for the guest! Some people bring campers and tents and stay all weekend. This past year we had about 40 guest stay overnight and that's why we are considering the bunk house project.

Biggest crowd we've ever had at our camp, was about 75 people for a family reunion/pig roast years ago. We always have a clan reunion someplace in Potter or Tioga. Had it at a Potter cousin's camp for a few years, now we have it on a piece of land that was once part of an aunt's dairy farm, between Ulysses and North Bingham. Upgraded it with two dozen elec. hookups now, for RVs.

The year we had it at our camp, parking was a problem, as most had to park down on the twp. gravel road and the dust was pretty nasty. Back then our twp. didn't have a brine rig and got a neighboring twp to do the dirt roads. They never spread any along our frontage that year.

Back then some parked on the lower lawn, because it was dry that summer. That lawn area has been a swamp for the past several years

Only chores we have planned for this spring, are a wood shed and maybe, a metal roof on the camp. Original part we built back in 1980 and that's a long time for a shingled roof to last.

Especially when those shingles came from the piles of leftovers behind my boss' shop at the time. Some of 'em are probably at least 45 years old by now?

Some folks' learnin' curves just look like circles...3A Camp/also hunt 4B

Now we have access to a second cabin quarter mile away for more bunk room, but we used to bring an enclosed trailer that had 3 sets of bunks beds with carpet and had an oil filled electric heater in it for extra room.

Didnt have to pay taxes on a new building and was out of the way when not needed...

If god willing and the river don't rise, The wife and I will be putting in a Cozy Cabin before fall. We have the land, now we just have to break ground when the snow leaves and order the cabin. Our current place was built in 1922 and has no running water or indoor plumbing. The females in my family would be much more willing to spend time up there when the latter is realized.
