Hunting Camp

For all of you guys that are heading to a camp that isn't your's. Don't be afraid to take along a pack of paper towels, toilet paper, or bottle of festive drinks. Something nonperishable. We put in a lot of time and money and don't ask for reciprocation. Just glad to have people in camp.

Never enough snacks at camp. My BIL doesn't eat 'em, so he doesn't bring any when he comes up.

I eat all that are in sight, so it's my fault when we run out.

No one ever got in trouble for bringing "too much" food to deer camp.

Menu is set, but snacks and desserts (especially home made) are always welcome. I good bottle of whiskey will be appreciated; a cheap bottle wont get you kicked out but you may never hear the end of it.

The owner of the camp I go to for the last weekend always gets a case of beer and a bottle of Crown.

If a guest needs to be told that he wouldn't be coming to Camp.

And be respectful by putting all your gear away in one place instead of dropping something on every single chair and table in the camp! Just venting. Sorry.

Geeze don't be sorry, that's a big one right there. Applies in wall tents, hotel rooms and even around a camp fire as well.

Listen, or your tongue will make you deaf.

Don't be afraid to sweep or do dishes. Paper plates, cups and plastic forks and spoons are nice. A lot of guys think another's camp is their vacation retreat. All the guys that end up at our place are great and if I visit someone else's place I'm respectful of the invite. Oh the stories we could tell.
