Camp and Little League

Looks like I might be heading up Friday. The Clinton County (Keystone} team plays at 8 PM in the world series and I was thinking it be neat to stop and watch the game. Espn just said they expect 30,000(WOW) fans for this game.So Im debating skipping it and watching it from camp. Anybody ever go? Hows the parking? Thanks Rod

Re: Camp and Little League

I went 4 years ago, as its about an hour or so from my camp. We went opening weekend and had a blast, parking was no problem. My 11 year old won districts but lost sectionals 2 weeks ago, so I am all baseballed out. have fun if you go its a blast.

Camp life,it don't get much better!

Re: Camp and Little League

My son and I have gone the past two years and will be there Friday. We were there when they had the largest crowd ever and it was fine. Parking is on site and free, we get there around noon and never had a problem. I can not speak for later in the day. Food and drinks are very cheap and it is a great time. I highly suggest you go and cheer on the first local team in a long time.

I live in So. Williamsport and we go to the games regularly. Parking is no problem and within walking distance of both stadiums. The series are well run, safe, and a real class act. The boys play an excellent game of ball. Truly an enjoyable time. By the way all games are free of charge they just pass a hat just like any other little league game.

Will be heading up to Clinton Co. camp at 1:00 Friday afternoon. Then going down to the 5:00 game and staying to watch the 8:00 Mid Atlantic game. Back to camp and back to the games all day Saturday. The family has been going for the last 6 years. Better then MLB.

Re: Camp and Little League

My family goes at least 1 or 2 days a year. We are going Saturday. I usually take my travel baseball team with us. It is a blast! Parking usually isn't bad and it is free to get in. The food prices really aren't that bad either. The great part is it's really good, fun filled baseball. I agree 100% that its better than MLB. I definitely suggest going.

Get 'em down and keep 'em down

Re: Camp and Little League

Parking is free below the stadium & free shuttles up the hill to the stadium. Allow extra time to go through the security checkpoint & you might want to check the Little League website to see what items are prohibited to bring in. Food prices are decent. I'll be with one of the cameramen in the stands at Lamade all series so I sure hope to see some of you HPA'ers there. Met a few last year( I'll be the guy looking like he'd rather be hunting )

Why ? Because the lads aren't a bunch of whining, coddled, overpaid PrimaDona's ?
