bohunr, we usually agree, however not in this case. They did not railroad Joe Paterno, he knew what his buddy was doing, he was told and did nothing but tell other people who did nothing. They were all more worried about protecting Penn State's reputation then they were about protecting kids who were being sodomized by a criminal. As a mandatory reporter, he was obligated to go to the police if the college didn't do anything and he chose the college's reputation over the kids. He was no hero. Coaching football does a hero make. However, protecting helpless children does a hero make. He could have been a hero, instead he chose to be a goat. He got what he deserved and earned. In my opinion everyone who was told or knew from the President of the College down to Paterno should have seen prison time.
