RonM , the food was good don't get me wrong , but it takes sooooo long to get your food, and if you order soup normally other restaurants brings it out a little early to give you time to eat ,but there all your food comes out together and something cools down until you get to it , it's not bad if you're local times not that important but if you're traveling you want to keep moving to get where you're going. that's my beef.....

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I can't say I like the idea of this thread. Too subjective for me, and has too many opportunities for folks to run down other folks livelihoods with no proof or consequences. Ok, I said my peace. Carry on.......

Was thinking the same thing when I read the post.
Why Taint someone's livelihood.
All this thread is doing is possibly steering someone away that may have visited one of these joints and maybe would have liked it.
Thumbs down for me.

After working in commercial kitchens for some time, I've found lots of them will keep a guy from eating out ever again. Prisons and schools are the cleanest and it goes down hill from there.

You guys are right on. When I was married, my wife and I ate at a place in Elkton, MD., called the Swiss Inn, best food , great service, recommended it to friends and they had a terrible meal....

A senior biology major as a project tested area salad bars for bacteria. Not all... but the clear majority failed (employees not washing hands). I've stayed clear of salad bars ever since.

I would not bash anyone who cooks for me. If I dont like it, I wont finish it and not return but, these people are just trying to make it on their own. Beats them being on goverment assistance

Back in the heyday I used to hate going to the Knotty Pine in Tionesta but one of our guys loved it and always ordered liver and onions said it was almost as good as his mom's. Can't say I was broken up too much when it burned down.
