here ya go

FBI, treasure hunters digging in Elk County | WJAC

they claim to have found the gold in 2012 but federal law prevents them from digging it up and the FBI will not allow "finders Keepers" to speak with the news.

More:

</title> </head> <body> <div id="bodyie"> <header> <div id="headerie"> <title>Finders Keepers USA

thats 52 bars weighing 50 lbs thats ,2500 pounds of GOLD . the Gold disappeared around St. Marys PA

the story in the second link sounds like typical Government bull droppings. now it looks like the Federal Government believes them and is there to claim ownership of the Gold.

the Finders better get a darn good attorney and FAST.

I hope the finders get to keep it ,but knowing the government , they'll tax the devil out them and they'll end up with very little or nothing at all

I guess the FBI would say someone stole this gold during the Civil War, and they're at a crime scene to investigate the theft of government money. They're only 150+years late to arrive.
