Satellite TV at camp.

Any of you have satellite tv at home and at camp with the same provider? If that is the case,do you just pay for the dish(es) to be installed and transport a receiver back and forth? Just curious what some of you guys do.

A government big enough to give you everything you want,is strong enough to take everything you have

I got a dish for free, installed it myself and just leave the box there. Thru Dish network an extra box is only $5 more a month.

Re: Satellite TV at camp.

I had to buy the dish, and I have a box that stays at camp for $5 per month. Can't be any better. If you dont want to pay the $5 per month then you would have to transfer back and forth. As much as i'm at camp that would be a big pain in the butt for me.

Re: Satellite TV at camp.

My parents just got a dish for there camper. They have premium channels and only have to pay by the month, no 2 year contract. So they pay for 4 summer months only during camping season. Would be good for someone who knows when they are going to camp. You could pay Oct Nov Dec, April May and July or something.

Re: Satellite TV at camp.

I also got a dish given to me and installed it myself. Then leave a direct tv box from our home account at the camp.

Same here but I have direct TV. We rough it, though. Our service isn't hi-def.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.
