Rothrock camp and fatalities at stoney point HQ

http://wearecentralpa.com/wtaj-news-...?nxd_id=292547

LOGAN TOWNSHIP, HUNTINGDON COUNTY - There are fatalities from an early-morning fire that destroyed a cabin in Huntingdon County.

A State Police trooper confirmed that more than one person died, but did not say how many.

It happened around 1 a.m. in Logan Township off of Diamond Valley Road just inside the entrance to the Rothrock State Forest. There is a sign near the building that reads "Stony Point Forest Foreman."

The county coroner, State Police fire marshal and State Police investigators have been on the scene all morning.

No word yet on what started that fire.

It's a good spot. Just not today.

Sad!

If you continue to do what you're doing, you'll only get what you have gotten.

I'm told it was a residence behind the HQ.

Story still developing...

I went by today. Yes, it was the residence being the HQ. Nothing left but the stone corners of the house. Four people died.

I have seen that cabin. Must have been an intense fire for 4 people to fail to get out.

No names have been released yet. Did confirm on the news one was a DCNR employee but no more details will be released until further investigation/families notified. Sad to hear of this
