Anyone have information on insuring a cabin? Our insurance company doesn't sound like they're much interesting in insuring a cabin without all common amenities and with a woodstove.

I don't know a lot about it, but you might need some sort of rider on your home owners policy.

Another "vote" for Erie. I now have all of my insurance - including camp, with a local Erie agent. But camp is "lumped in" with my homeowners.

At one time had my trucks with Liberty Mutual and home owners with Allstate. Both managed to tick me off for various reasons and it's all now with Erie.

Some folks' learnin' curves just look like circles...3A Camp/also hunt 4B

Mine is through Nationwide its 85.00 a month for $120.000 and it covers structure and full contents and i have a wood burner , and propane furnace that is on all year. I have had 2 burglaries and all was covered including 2 deer mounts and a duck. So far i have been satisfied with them .
