What creature comforts do you have at camp? It my new one, I have inside plumbing, washer/dryer, internet and a pool table. At my other one, I had electric and and an outside shower. That is still my favorite one but no one wants to go there.
Dads first camp was a camping trailer on the lot. Then built the cabin only had old wood stove and outhouse. When they moved in full time he added on and it had insulation, better, wood stove, indoor bathroom, washer, dryer, dishwasher, hot showers and TV. and a 2 car garage.
Now that he is gone the only thing we do not have is the TV.
I don't have a camp nor do i belong to one. But as a kid my grandparents had one. It had a screen in porch (creature comfort as it kept off most of the mosquitoes); propane stove (creature comfort as it allowed my grandmother to cook and bake for the family); indoor plumbing / no shower or tub (creature comfort for obvious reasons); slab sided brick lined stove (creature comfort that burned coal and / or wood); 3 small bedrooms for the adults and in the attic 3 mattresses on the floor for us kids. Had French Creek out the front door and a swampy area about 50 yards out back. Those were creature comforts too in their own way.
I have electricity, a well, a wood burner and an indoor sink and toilet. But the shower is outside and there are no floors walls or ceilings. No kitchen, cooking is mostly microwave. It's like living in a construction site when I stay up there.
Our camp is my family's second home when it's not hunting season so we have everything that we have at home. Except for high-speed internet. We have low speed. Some times no speed. But we have everything else. Oh, one thing we don't have is AC, but you rarely need it up in the mountains.
