Reasons to go to Cross Fork area this month!

First of all -- WOW! Its June!

If you want an excuse to go to the Cross Fork area this month - here are three:

Kids Fishing Derby at Ole Bull State Park - June 4.

Bluegrass Festival at Quiet Oaks Campground - June 16-18

39th Annual Rattle Snake Hunt in Cross Fork - June 25-26

Thanks Karl for the listing, I am with ya on the WOW its june thing...we will be up on the 18th, but I doubt we will leave the mountain top much.

People need reasons to go to GOD'S COUNTRY? Man I miss it up yonder! This Lancaster County Rat Race stinks!!

I can only make it up this month for the Bluegrass Festival and the Snake Hunt weekends -- although I plan to spend most of the time fishing from my boat on Bush Dam down at the park those weekends.

I NEVER NEED A REASON TO HEAD UP CROSS FORK. I WAS JUST UP THERE THIS PAST WEEKEND AND CLOBBERED TROUT.

swimming at the swimming hole at ole bull on a hot day. that water will cool you down quick.

I had a good friend that was killed the weekend of the snake hunt several years ago. Rolled his truck out Crossforks Road and was ejected.
