Just got back

Well it rained pretty much all weekend, Got the grass cut in between rain drops, Fished Mill Creek Sat morn. didnt do all that well. It was up a little and not to bad. Sat evening went to fish the West Branch of Tionesta and it and the South Branch were very high and choco;ate milk. Even Pigs Ear was running high. Had to go home thru Emlenton and in Center Twp Butler Co, dont know what stream it was but it in was in some peoples basement, feel sorry for them. If you havent been to camp for a while I would say your grass needs cut.Hope to be back up for Memorial Day

Re: Just got back

Good luck with some decent weather for the Memorial Day weekend. It's been a killer lately.

Re: Just got back

I just got back from 10 wonderful days at my Cross Fork camp! It rained last night - middle of the night - and was raining this morning - which was the first and only rain we had in the 10 days I was there. Kettle Creek was actually running low and clear, but the fly fishing was exceptionally good all week.

So far, I have been at camp 42 days already this year - and I'm sure I'll beat last year's record of 81 days (easily)!

Re: Just got back

With all the rain back here in Westmoreland county your might want to head back to camp.

Re: Just got back

I noticed all the high muddy water on the way home. I was surprised -- And I think I'd love to go back up, but it has nothing to do with the high creeks here!
