looking for a lease

alright guys gonna throw this out there. I have seen offers where you buy the shack and then pay a yearly lease, i am looking for something like that. something a couple hours from pittsburgh and with some hunting and more importantly fishing close by. i am really looking for more of a summertime getaway. if anybody has any leads on something like this shoot me a pm. would like something without neighbors staring at me too

Re: looking for a lease

I wish you would have posted this a week ago. The camp right down the creek from me went up for sale. You could have fished from the back porch (you would have had to build a back porch first) A buddy or mine made an offer and I think the people are going to take it. If it falls through, I'll let you know. I'll keep an eye open up around my place for other camps. Great fishing all around that area up there and the hunting's pretty good.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: looking for a lease

No, its still for sale but realistically, its pretty much beyond repair. My friend looked at it and said the best place to start repairs would be with a match and some kerosene. I guess instead of fixing the holes in the floors due to the leaking roof, they just threw some sheet metal down. Also, the whole back of the camp is sinking into the ground.
