Montour Rd

I heard from other camp members that Montour Rd is closed from Rt120. Has anyone else heard of this? I'm heading to camp this weekend and will need to come in from Bush Dam side. I'm wondering if it washed out again from the same area that was repaired a few years ago.

Re: Montour Rd

blueknob - that's what I understand. Same place as before. Can always go up Mill Run too to avoid going around.

Thinking about the next trip up north to 2G - Elk State Forest

Re: Montour Rd

Mill Run Rd is close too. I heard Bush Dam is 30ft above flood stage. Anyone know if Sugar camp rd is still open?

Re: Montour Rd

You can't get into Sugar Camp Rd. at the lake access. As of this afternoon (Thursday) the dam has water backed up from just below the lookout to McCoy Run.

Re: Montour Rd

Cooks Run is probably okay. If not, you can go up over Bitumen to Crowley to Sugar Camp and across to Montour from there. Also, the bottom of Trout Run Rd. is okay.

The steel bridge over Kettle Creek just below McCoy Run (Leidy) is under water.

We're coming up late next week, and we have to cross the bridge at Leidy. Please keep us posted!
