Bait shop near Cross Forks or Galeton area ?

Are there any bait shops near Cross Forks or Galeton that would sell minnows ? I'm coming up to camp fishing next week and don't have time to catch any.

Smitty's on route 6 used to but he's hit or miss anymore. The store is open when he feels like it. Mitchells at the county line on route 6 has a pretty good line of items for sale for fishing and I'm pretty sure I saw tanks there for minnows. A new owner took over in Oleana at the little country store but I'm not sure if he has any. I was in there on Saturday but didn't take notice. I'm not sure about cross forks though. didn't travel that far south to fish.

Might be a little far but if you're near Wellsboro "The Tackle Shack" on Rt. 287 just off rt. 6 has minnows. They have a website for info.

Itís funny until somebody gets hurt, then itís hilarious

Believe Wharton Store has them, but that's a bit of a ride for you unless you are heading over that way.

Just go to Mitchels Twin Valley Market beteween Gaines and Galeton..He is always open, and has all the minnows you need! He puts all the tackle shops to shame in his prices from Tioga to Potter! Tell him Vince sent you!
