Does anyone know if you can get a permit to cut firewood in Susquehanna State Forest

Yep ,Should be able to , need to call district forester to get a permit for the area you plan to cut in.
I think they are $10 or so

Re: Firewood Permit

send a self addressed stamped envelope with name address, truck license number, 2 roads to cut on and a check endorsed to the commonwealth of pa for 20.00 per cord to the district office, they will mail you back a wood permit with the rules and regs good for 30 days from issuance.

Re: Firewood Permit

Blackbruin is spot on, I called them last summer and got the same info. They also told me you can stop in the office and get one as well if you like.
