Best way to do it is take a day and go up and ride around and look. Not hard to find camps for sale, but some are more conspicuous than others.

Here's the link to mine. Only some interior work left to do. New roof siding and windows.

Take a day and go ride the dirt roads. You'll find it.

I know of one that will be for sale soon near west hickory.

2F for a while...

Re: wanted: camp near tionesta

I wouldn't recommend riding around this time of year, German Hill area had 12" of snow as of a few days ago, and the weather is predicting 6 to 8" more. I imagine a lot of the secondary roads and camp lanes are pretty bad. I just had a pic sent to me of a backhoe working to open the lane to my camp.

I really don't think anyone said to go up and ride around right now....but still, it IS the best way to find camps.

What exactly did you have in mind RE: Fixer upper and what do you have to spend?

Hunting: 10% skill and 90% location.

Re: wanted: camp near tionesta

something that has been sitting for a while not being used much but still liveable just needing a little TLC, something the owner don't have time or money for or significant other has passed and no longer has interest in.
looking to spend under 20k but no camper or trailer.
