Re: Eldred,PA

I'm off W Eldred rd. Deer numbers were good until the season started for some reason. The deer killed in our valley were down. Not much shooting this year. Out of the camps on our road only three bucks killed the first week. Went up after the season and saw a couple dozen feeding in the fields. Just one of those years.

We have camp off windfall road in Eldred/Duke Center. Plenty of deer around and also a lot of hunters this year where we hunt. Possibly due to the fact that 3A is still buck and doe combined. We took our fair share of deer the first 2 days.

Thanks for the replies. We hunted a large piece of private property for years and are planning on returning this year for rifle season. We always did well and saw a lot of game. Great area.

We used to go to a bar in Eldred called, Framello's or Farmello's. Anyone know if it still open?

Nope its not open anymore.....the place that it became after they closed has now closed as well from what I hear.

Take the time to show some respect for the animals we hunt

This is such malarky. I live on that road and hunt it all season. The only time it "appears" to have plenty of deer is the first day of rifle when they are being chased around. The deer numbers here are ridiculously low.

I take it you guys are the green camp on the left side of the road by the field?
