Hey Potter Guys, how much snow?

How much snow did Potter get so far out of this storm? How much are they calling for?

None as of now in southern potter. Calling for 1-3 tonight. Forest roads are solid ice and nearly impossible to navigate even with chains.

Not sure if your familiar with Wild Boy Road or Rock Ridge Road but just got a report from my son that they slid off the side of the road on the way up to the top and had to be towed off.
Another report was a someone slid off the side of Wild Boy.
Ya don't want to tangle with that Mountain in winter.

None on the top of the mountain above Cross Fork. Just got home an hour ago.

Who in their right mind would try to go up the Prouty side of Wild Boy this week?

Iím a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.

Re: Hey Potter Guys, how much snow?

I left my camp in northwestern Potter Sunday morning. The dirt roads were solid ice. It was an exciting three-mile slip and slide down to Rt. 44 then bare blacktop from there.

Eh...wot?

Snow is falling as I type this. Still calling for 1-3 tonight and an additional 1-3 tomorrow. So we will see. What the weather man called for last night didn't happen.

Re: Hey Potter Guys, how much snow?

Just sat down at the Waldheim, for a bite to eat, came up 44, not really slippy took it easy, road is pretty much snow covered. Looking forward to tomorrow's hunt. Going to hunt off the black top tomorrow. Might hit the top of Rock Run rd later on chains permitting.

Half and inch, going to be great tomorrow for hunting. The only problem is even with chains on all 4 the roads are about impossible to travel.
