This area is very easy to get lost. I am not joking. I have hunted it quite a bit and got turned around twice. It is very big chunk of land. Pressure is not too bad.
Be very careful and do not wander about.
Good luck.

My camp is up there. What Gogetthedogs said ! The deer are there, and shooting a slammer is a definite possibility. Loads of bear, and its open there whole first week so get a tag. If you don't know the land, and you go too deep, getting lost is a definite possibility! Did I mention there are some monsters on both lands!!!

You can hunt from the ground, and you will see trucks in the MANY lots, but once boots hit the ground, you might not see another hunter. SGL 13 has been good to my group!

Lopez is as big as my family room, so a place to stay is not happening. If I didn't have a full camp, you could have stayed with me. Next year talk to me in August.

Any of you ever hunt Bartlett mountain in SGL57. In heading up to my uncles camp this coming weekend and I'm looking to make the trek. The mountain seems bigger than most and more rugged, at least from the aerials. Anything else I should be aware of before I try to hunt this mountain myself?
