Tionesta bound for turkey day

Headed near Tionesta for Thanksgiving looking for areas of interest to keep the kids from getting board I hope to be there for 4 days if work will allow it. I would be happy just sitting at camp getting fat eating left overs but have to keep every one happy any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Hearts content if you're looking to do some hiking. The anf is also around the corner. Warren holds some shopping and a couple decent restaurants. Back in Titusville is Drakes Well. Cooks forest is a stones throw away as well.

Drive down to the Tionesta dam in the evenings. There usually deer on the hillside so the kids may enjoy getting to see them.

What I really loved when I was a kid at camp with adults was taking long drives through the wooded roads looking for deer from the vehicle (not hunting obviously).

Excellent
Thank you gentlemen
I forgot all about Hearts content. I used to love tagging along with the adults checking ou the deer population I usually had to beg but if there was room they would let me tag along

Re: Tionesta bound for turkey day

I was up Tionesta today dropping off wood for the upcoming deer rifle opener. I completely forgot about the fish hatchery being in Tionesta as well. I'm not sure what exact days they're open but the gate say Visitor Hours are form 8:00-3:00.

I forgot about the fish hatchery also. I visited it when we first purchased the place but the kids were not with us and they wanted to check it out. That is another great idea Thank you 1shot2kills
