Centre/Clinton: Snow Shoe - Renovo

I go to a camp in Sproul S.F. near Centre /Clinton line. Any one have any reports on the deer and bear numbers. What's the acorn crop look like? One month until Bear Camp!

Lots of acorns and as squaeks said more bear than deer. also keep an eye out for elk. I had 3 cows and a calf run across 144 in front of me at the Chuck Keiper trailhead

with sufficient thrust pigs fly just fine

Yeah, I heard the elk numbers are on the rise. Exciting to hear elk are on the south side of the river...

Same area, been up several times over the summer and saw 3 different bear, only 1 deer a small doe. Going up for the entire bear season this Friday. Won't be up for deer, going to hunt deer in my southern Pa camp.

Re: Centre/Clinton: Snow Shoe - Renovo

Have been up to camp in Clinton the last three weeks for long weekends. The deer numbers seem... ok to better than usual. My father and I each killed a doe and a buck this archery season. Many other bucks seen.

Lots of white oak acorns this year in our hunting areas.

Lot of doe, some bucks on Beech Creek mountain, Bear tracks, but yet to see one in person. Cat tracks everywhere.
