Five of us are heading up to the cabin Thursday night. We have a few minor projects to get knocked out but this is mainly a kick back and have a few cold ones weekend. Friday is going to be the seafood feast with a bushel of crabs, steamed clams, shrimp, and corn on the cob. Saturday will be wings, corn on the cob and fresh cut fries. This will be accompanied by several cold adult beverages and a few games of cornhole while watching college football!
Why is it that everything tastes so much better at camp???
We are two miles west of English Center in Carsontown. If you're in the area, stop by and have a cold one!
We spent a couple of bear seasons in that area back in the mid 90's(no luck). We stayed in a little B&B English Center Inn(?) which I guess is long gone. Nice area - never deer hunted up there but did have a nice 10 pointer casually stroll by me one morning LOL

As a kid I hunted all over that area with my step dad, and the old timer hunting group, years ago. They knew all that area, English Center, Cammal, Slate Run. They'd stop in at camps, homes, restaurants, just to shoot the breeze with friends. Haven't been up there in many years.
