Huff and Puff Lodge

Anybody here a member or ever hear of this camp/camps located together in Clinton Co along the West Branch?

I just wanted to mention that my daughter and I were floating down the West Branch and decided to stretch our legs. We did a walkaround the two camps. The setting is fantastic and I cant imagine any camps being any more off the beaten path. Although we have seen this camp across the river for many years we just couldn't resist a peek. Just beautiful.

At least ya didn't pose for a pic on their front porch, then send it to 'em.

I've had several friends and acqaintences do that at my place when I wasn't there.

Including one guy who used to stop and have lunch on my porch with his wife, whenever they were in the area shootin' woodchucks: "We were here, you weren't".

It's always good to have friends keep an eye on your place. Also, the presence of new vehicles at different times makes the place look occupied and keep the bad guys away. Now if I could just figure out how to get them to mow the grass.

If I could get them to cut a load of firewood too, I would even supply the beer.
Anyone is free to take a walk around my camp anytime, just hope they notify DCNR or myself if something is amiss.

Re: Huff and Puff Lodge

All year long we get people using our double outhouse, one time came up for some flinting at camp and there was a dozen or so snowmobilers in the parking lot taking a bathroom break. They were surprised and apologized, I told them no problem! A month later there was a case of toilet paper in one of the sides, never found out who but I can guess!

Anybody can shoot deer on the farm ground....You earn it in the mountains.......
