Tionesta Indian Festival and Warren Co. Fair

Leaving for camp on Thursday and coming home next Tues. Got some of my wife's family tagging along, and she had printed out schedule of events for both of these activities to try out. Now mind you, I was planning on hanging a stand or two and maybe fishing the river at Kinzua a little bit. Anybody been to these events? are they worth going to?

I think when it comes to hanging stands and fishing ha it's a no brainer. Seen the info last time I was up and no I'm not going to the festival I'm fishing and putting up trail cams. But it may be a good time!

live laugh love and hunt hard!

Forest county got to love it!

Camp above Tionesta and since weve had it Ive only been to the Indian Festival once in 13 yrs. That was the cornhole tournament and guess who took home the trophy

Going up tomorrow night. Moving a couple stands, checking food plots and cameras, bought a shed from the amish that needs a couple shims yet. Building some shelves in it and maybe coating it with sealer. Should be a nice weekend.

2F for a while...

The Indian festival is sort of like a firemans fair on steroids. I have only gone once in the maybe 15 years we've had a place up there, but it was ok. If I were going up this weekend, I'd probably go, but only for something to do and only if nothing needed done around camp. You can still hang stands and fish. You don't need more than a day to cover the indian festival. Not sure about the Warren county fair.

I only go to the festival and parade because the kids like it. If it was up to me,I wouldn't even go into town. I go to camp to get AWAY from the crowds and people!

Re: Tionesta Indian Festival and Warren Co. Fair

Well I got family coming and there really not into scouting deer and hanging stands, so I have to find something to do all together. The more time I keep them away form camp that's less of my beer they drink, and less stuff they can tear up.. I plan on sneaking away early in the mornings and getting out a little bit. Plus I have Friday and Monday that they won't be there too.

plus you see all us crazy locals...my wife and kids are working there daily, Youngsville band and St luke church food booths. I am going up tomorrow night to watch Joe..Joe..Joe Diffeeee!!!

Wife is at Lori Morgan concert right now. We saw Tyler Farr last night, it was "redneck crazy" ..LOL

Look for us we will be driving a pick up and wearing camo...LOVE our county fair! There are rides there for the kids, plus the Ag displays, plus people watching on a bench is always fun. Then of course the tractor pulls and Demo derby.
