Forest County storm damage

I'm a little late to the party but thought I'd throw this out there. We were up this past weekend. The storms from last week took their toll on our place along Bluejay Creek. One tree took out our shed, back porch and powerline("natural" hat trick? lol)all in one shot. Luckily the main structure was spared. 3ft to the left and we'd be out of the game for a while. On the way up to camp along 66, just south of Marienville, there are trees down everywhere, some on camps. If you havent been up to your home away from home in awhile, I suggest you pack a chainsaw on your next trip.

I have CDO, its like OCD but the letters are in alphabetical order the way they should be.

Re: Forest County storm damage

The northern western Pa counties have been getting pounded with storms these last few weeks. I still got a couple big trees down from the storms last summer, that I haven't had time to cut up.

yea...it had to be the storms from the 16th/17th. Also....sorry, 899 South of Marienville, not 66. There's a cluster of camps/homes before Gilfoyle Rd. They looked to have been hit hard.

Re: Forest County storm damage

At 3PM today, Channel 4 News Pittsburgh interrupted regular programming for several minutes to show a severe storm in the Tionesta, West Hickory, Kellettville area with tornado warnings, high winds, and heavy rain. Hope WinchesterBob gives an update later.

Re: Forest County storm damage

Looks like they re about to get pummeled again as we speak. Calling for more heavy thunderstorms expected between today and tomorrow. I'm planning to head up this weekend.. Fingers crossed that there is no damage to my place.
