Camp Road in need of repair

Camp is located off of 144 between Snow Shoe and Renova, approx 7 miles from "the crossroads". Looking for some names of someone that can do a little maintenance on the camp lane.

Also, this is a lease camp on state ground, does anybody know off hand whether we need to contact DCNR? Not doing anything new, just need to smooth out the existing road.

Re: Camp Road in need of repair

Thanks for stating the obvious. Let me press my "that was easy" button. I would have never thought to call DCNR.

Try getting in touch with one of those guys on a friday afternoon. Nobody in the office. I left them a message. Just added that question to the post in case there was a DCNR guy on the boards.

Have a great weekend.

Re: Camp Road in need of repair

Your access to your state camp lease is your problem, dcnr will not fix it, maybe 15-20 years ago.... If your just adding base and leveling, no drainage pipes or widening, you can do it. Don't even worry about it of your just putting stone or shale down and leveling.

Forgot, I'm sitting next to a DCNR district 7 maintenance crew foreman.

Glad I didn't make the suggestion.

Seems to me that when you ask for advice on a forum like this and well intended advice is offered, the only correct response is "thank you!"
