Upper Pine Creek River Conditions?

I was wondering if anyone has some current information on how high the river is near Gaines?
I know last weekend it was well over the banks and flooded most of the campground we stay at. Our campers are about a half mile below the Rexford bridge and we are planning to head up there Friday afternoon. I've been watching the weather and rain is still in the forecast for the next day or two.
If anyone has some current info to share I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you. I have that one bookmarked and use it. I was wondering if anyone has gotten an eyes on visual of the river but I do appreciate the reply.

Re: Upper Pine Creek River Conditions?

Yes...I did get there Friday afternoon. The water level was certainly up but it was fishable. The level lowered a bit every day and by Sunday morning the water was cleared up a lot too. I would say the river was fantastic for canoeing, kayaking and rafting judging by the amount of people going by us all weekend.

Side note...
The Prime Rib at the Log Cabin Inn was outstanding.

How was the fishing? Looked like it was in real good condition yesterday while passing it on my way home from camp. A lot of people were out on the water.

Fishing was fairly good. Bait and spinners/lures did better than the flies.

Log Cabin is the only place to eat! Planning a float trip this weekend. Think lvls will still be nice

Re: Upper Pine Creek River Conditions?

If you float down past the campground about a half mile below the bridge at Rexford be sure to give a HPA shout out. Our campers are right along the river and we will be either fishing there or sitting along the bank. If you need a refreshment please stop by.
