[censored] dude I follow the observer reporter in warren on my Facebook. I just saw the pictures. I wish everyone the best who has places along the ever and creeks. It looks really bad from the pictures. Our camp is on a hill so we shouldn't have a problem. But you never know.

Wow John, your pics have sparked some concern. I hope everything and everyone stay safe. Have you contacted the Army Corps at all during this spell of high water?

Good luck to all involved and be cautious and safe. I have been following this all morning, the Northern Tier got pounded with as much as 4-5 inches of rain. Elk County area got hit hard. They are saying to pull your boats from the rivers.

Re: Allegheny River waterfront camps....

Thanks guys, all is well, my only concern so far is my crawl space as the sump pump just can't turn over this much water, I just shut off all circuits that run thru the crawl space except the sump...but the river itself is going down pretty fast.

The Kinzua Dam was about 8' above summer pool before this, they have been hammering the outflow at about 17K forever trying to get the lake down for the big holiday weekend. Which was fine til last night and this AM,we and especially SNY got hammered with several inches of rain, my neighbor said we got 5" here. We got the camper at a campground already, camp on the hill, camp in Potter....if we need to jump ship we will be fine. Just a bit unexpected is all...my daughter stayed home from school sick today and called me at 11AM in a little panic. When i went to work at 8 AM I still had two railroad ties to go on the retaining wall....nature amazing me yet again.

Re: Allegheny River waterfront camps....

Eddy says he wants the backyard to stay like this...now that the water is in reverse we both needed to unwind a bit. Going down real fast must be closing up the Dam some.
