We have a #2 popular camp get together "Trout Camp". The feel of camp is the same as "Deer Camp" with the food and fun and of coarse the chase. I read of the changes over time but continue to hold onto the heritage. The creeks include places like Four Mile Run, Brown Run, Two Mile Run, and South Branch of Kinzua Creek. Anyone having a Trout Camp Get Together?
going out to medix run, site #9. will be there from the 9th to the 18th.my Dad will come out night before opening day, some guys from work as well off and on during the week. But pretty much me getting away for 10 days.I really don't even care if I even wet a line.
true pleasure is a pair of red eyes coming at you in the night
I'll be up Easter weekend and then again two long weekends in May. I'll be hitting Kinzua creek, West branch of Kinzua, Farnsworth branch, and a few new streams that I haven't tried yet. I had some really good fishing days up there last year, and I'm definitely looking forward to it.
My wife and I started our trout camp get together a couple of years ago and we have had a blast. We will be at salmon Creek in the morning and maple Creek the next day. Only problem is I got some things to do around camp and the fact I couldn't get Monday off
When we got the streams to ourselves. Counting them down
There will be 8-10 in the camp that I recently bought near Pigeon in Forest County. We'll be fishing Tionesta if the water level is ok, or one of the smaller streams if not. If it's really bad everywhere, then we'll hike out the door to one of the smaller drainage streams for natives. Really excited to have a camp in the area again, and can't wait to have the first big get together.
