Backhoe Emporium/Wharton area

Had a little trouble with all the snow a few weeks ago now can't find anyone that can make it up for a month now to move some shale around for a driveway so I can start building. Just wondering if anybody has or knows someone in that area that would be willing to do some work.
Thank You

Head to the town of Austin. When you cross the bridge coming off rt 872 stop at the gas station/ garage on the right and talk with Mr. Ritzick. He'll get you going in the right direction. He himself may have a backhoe. He's a man of many hats, knows everyone and will give you the shirt off his back. If he's not there his son is and he will help you !

Honesty is my only excuse.

Ritzick hasn't been here for a few years. His entire family moved to Florida. Fourness excavating in Austin is an option.

Re: Backhoe Emporium/Wharton area

Yeah the last time I talked to him was probably Jan. 2011. I borrowed tire chains from him while I was trapping bobcat down through all the gas well around his house in Wharton. I knew once they bought that house downn there it wouldn't be long. Good old boy for sure! I'm sure he's missed in the area. Always like shooting the breeze with him and hearing his old stories.

Honesty is my only excuse.

Tons of Bobcat down there. I see multiples each year while archery hunting.

AJ Kautz in Emporium does plumbing. He may be able to do it or know someone that can.
