Trip to camp

Decided to make a trip to camp and check things out . Called one of the locals and had him plow the driveway, good thing we did the plowed snow at the road is about 4 feet high . Had around 2 feet of snow in the yard. We turned on the furnace lit the woodburner and went to Pepe s to give the place time to warm up. Got up Saturday and went into Ridgway for the Chain saw carving expo. It is amazing what talent those people have, such detail in their work. They had a TRex on a trailer that was about 6 feet tall and 10 feet long. My wife found a bear cub she liked and now its at camp. The Redbank is really ice jammed around Summerville the Clarion is frozen over. Feel sorry for the wildlife its been a tough winter for them. The Forest roads in our araea were not plowed Lots of trees down on the gound . All in all a good trip

Re: Trip to camp

Glad you had a good trip. Hope I can pull into my driveway for the first day of trout and my roof can take the snow load!
