Shoot down state's Sunday hunting proposal

Quote:
I live in a rural setting where I have to police my private, posted property six days a week against trespassers and people hunting within the safety zone. We like to run our dogs and forage on our property and surrounding properties without having to watch our backs one day a week. I am an avid hunter but have encountered many slobs out there who are blatantly breaking the hunting laws. Please contact your lawmakers to "shoot" this Sunday hunting bill down!

Getting to expect the anti-hunting stuff from you. The post yesterday or the day before about the ewe with an arrow in it, and now this.

Now I am an anti-hunter?

Follow the ewe story...you might just learn something.
Seems folks have difficulty identifying their targets....wonder how that Yedi the wolf turned out?

Just passing on the articles in the local paper.

Hunters Sharing The Harvest,(HSH), is Pennsylvania’s charitable venison donation program for hunters who share their extra venison via a statewide network of participating butchers to Food Banks across Pennsylvania. HSH participating butchers, who are paid for their services through monetary donations, coordinate the meat deliveries and work with local food banks. The food banks redistribute the venison to more than 4,000 local food assistance provider organizations such as food pantries, missions, homeless shelters, Salvation Army facilities and churches, as well as needy families.

There are 1.4 million families in the State of Pennsylvania in need of assistance.

"The game lands and trail parking areas are targets of crime at increased levels now; Sunday hunting will lead to more varied crime".

I haven't heard that one before.

Grasping at straws ? If you don't know what it means here's the definition : Making wild and often times unbelievable assumptions or using far fetched ideas and possibilities to reach the desired conclusion.

Re: Shoot down state's Sunday hunting proposal

I think that aspect is just a sign of the times. Most these areas are some what remote and in todays world wierd stuff happens in remote areas....but that isn't hunting or hunters fault. Albiet, they did institute the fee for gameland ranges for various reason I suppose.
