SH Compromise

How about providing some ideas on SH Compromise, here is mine.

Sunday Hunting Line - North of I-80 open…South closed. NY State had a similar set-up years ago IIRC as East of I-81 open…West of I-81 closed.

The northern tier has the most DCNR & PGC land (hunting camps), while southern tier has lot’s of farming. This idea could be a “proving ground” that all the fears never materialize.

Who has some ideas?

Re: SH Compromise

How about its a blue law issue. Abolish the blue law and allow people to exercise their individual property rights if the Commissioners add Sundays.

Re: SH Compromise

One question Frey--If SH is for more opportunity for those that work six days a week, how's that going to help the guy with kids that live below I-80 that still won't have to time to drive up to the northern tier for a one day hunt

I totally agree but if the southern half is so strongly opposed, it would allow the northern tier an oppertunity.

I would like the whole state to have SH but just an idea to keep the SH ball rolling.

Re: SH Compromise

When you have strong opinions on a subject, there doesn't need to compromise, just win or lose. Your either pregnant or your not, no in between.

FB has a strong position against SH, that's it. I will respect the FB tons, if they don't cave to the normal political bribes that go on everyday, makes me sick. Another post mentioned the same thing, we will give them tax breaks if they approve SH. Cut me a break, it's a bribe!! Call it whatever you want in the politally correct , accepted practice, but it's a bribe.

Just what we need. Pennsylvania's version of the civil war. It will be just like last time. North vs. South- with the North winning freedoms for the people held in oppression in the south.

Lets do it.

The end result will be equality for all!
