"The Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, with 50,000 members, is the major opponent of Sunday hunting, saying farmers need one day a week to relax with their families and not worry about bullets zinging across their property or trespassers encroaching."

Oh, the PFB has a new complaint...bullets zinging.

Re: Sunday hunting article & poll...link

So the PGC should not allow anyone to hunt on any lands (public or private)even by the landowner because a bunch of farmers do not want anyone trespassing on their land on a Sunday, even though trespassers do not abide by the laws to begin with.

Makes perfect sense to me.

Unless you are the lead dog, the view is always the same...

Leave Sundays for coyote hunting.

"Zinging bullets". Wow, keeps getting better.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

The farm bureau conceded today that all of those members are not farmers. They said 20-25K total actual members- however, their largest county in the state only has 800 farmers as members, and they do not have farmers as members in every county.

Nope. Hikers and equestrians don't want it because some of their best trails are on GAME LANDS and they want one day to use them- for free.

The equestrians did admit that riding a horse is far more dangerous than hunting, and both groups conceded that safety around hunting is more of a perception issue than anything else.

Both groups are willing to compromise.
