Sunday hunting- my reason.

i believe that we should be able to hunt on sundays because everyone works and everyone has to go to school. right now i am in high school and i have football practice monday thru thursday from 320-6. therefore no time for evening hunts or morning hunts because im in school all day. Plus on saturdays after a friday night game we have to be in for practice at 9am. so i only have that evening to hunt and it is not enough. that is why i want sunday hunting. i hate only being able to hunt one day a week for only a few hours. i wont get to rifle hunt much because of wrestling season. i know i have the rest of my life to hunt but still i want to hunt now also.

We deal with the same. My son plays on 2 hockey teams. His school and for a travel team. It takes up so much of his time.

We just used to prioritize when I was in school. We either liked football more or hunting more and made a decision.

Why don't the schools have football practice on Sundays ?

Just because people missed out on stuff years ago, we should continue that same route?

Its just a fact of life, priorities are the way we plot our way through life. Some people make good choices, others don't, but those whom feel that the sun always sets on them are out for a rough and rocky road.

Not sure, the season for jr'sthat cracks me up is the 3 day antlerless season. Two of those days are school days. That season was more for the oldheads, they thru the kids in there just so it would get support

Re: Sunday hunting- my reason.

We all need to set our priorities. Football practice the Saturday after the game? Could we imagine a school requiring Saturday morning academic enrichment classes? But then who cares about academics.

We certainly do everything we can to teach our kids they can have everything how and when they want it.
