Doe Tag Xfer..... Accolades

Read a section in the PGN yesterday on the Tag Transfer. Kudo's went to a couple of legislators for getting it passed. If I recall, a few members on here were the one's to write it up. Funny how Politician's love to takke credit, but no mention about the common folk that initiated it.

I agree, but the two here that played a big part have more class than the ones taking the credit

Re: Doe Tag Xfer..... Accolades

The PGC put out a press release after it was signed and made NO mention of the conservation/hunting groups that supported this bill. NONE!

They only gave accolades to the politicians.

In some cases, the PGC top leadership has it's head up it's butt. Some of them even bite the hands that feed them.

One of them is a member here and in my opinion, is a piece of crap.

BTW, it does my heart good to see these kids and their smiles in the Youth Hunter Success forum.

Anyone that doubts the positives of the MY program truly isn't a sportsman, IMO.

I certainly have my concerns about MY hunting, and do think there needs to be some changes to the program. However, since it is here, and it is the way it is, I see a transfer of a Doe tag as a good thing. Matter of fact, one of my peeves is that it should be Doe only.

Re: Doe Tag Xfer..... Accolades

Do we discriminate against any age class of hunter in that fashion?

The tag tansfer ended a form of discrimination, IMO.

Now, if you want to talk making things equal, apply the AR's across the board, no exceptions. That will end any "tag swapping" controversies.

I wasn't aware that we were allowed to refer to our fellow HPA members like that. Cool.
