Re: Lic. Sales to date

I believe it counts in the annual sales for income, I'll go look?

Renewals are free, so all they do is keep track of how many renew. Both SLT and SLT combos show a slight increase. I believe upgrades show as addiitional income?

Re: Lic. Sales to date

Pittman Robertson only counts them for 5 years, IIRC? No clue how the PGC counts them tho. Then you have people like Don Knaus who don't renew them because they didn't know that they had to, lol.

He published it in the news paper. That man never ceases to amaze me.

Mentored youth should increase with the transfer of antlerless tags, but some moved on to Junior license holder, so the increase is more than 24%. Did the Juniors also increase, that will give a better feel of how things are going.

Re: Lic. Sales to date

Res. Jr. hunting went down; Res. Jr. combos went up a bit, around a 3% increase. No real indication of a big jump in JR licenses yet.

Could also have more to do with the demographics of how many kids turned 12 and could get the Jr. license this year, as opposed to how many parents decided their kids were now mature enough for a MY permit?

And yes, I'm sure the addition of the doe tag transfer for MYHs, had an effect.

Oh yeah, and the other year he admits, in print, to shooting a deer without positively identifying it!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Lic. Sales to date

Last week's yarn, was about his deficiencies in operating a power boat safely. I 'spose it was intended to be humorous?

Anyway, it is somewhat encouraging to see this year's license sales get off to a wee bit better start, than last year's?
