Leashed tracking dogs up again. Blows my mind that many of the bozos in Harrisburg that claim to be pro hunting won't push this through because of pressure from animal rights wackos.

dont need a leash if the dogs trained right. anybody have a leash on their bird dogs or beagles ? the tracking dogs needs to be "scent" trained not "blood" trained, that way if the deer is gut shot and left no blood but dies the dog will still be able to find the deer by scent checking the wind.

its hard to explain but the outfitter i hunted with in South Carolina was trying to explain it to me. a wounded deer leaves a different scent than a healthy one ?

either way, PA needs this one to pass.
