PGC Dist. 7 seat filled

This Board of Commissioner's seat has been vacant for roughly 2 years, since Delaney's term expired.

Never heard of this feller, apparently few others had, either? 15 Senators voted against his confirmation, which is somewhat unheard of. Noticed that three Dem Senators from the region, all supported Knick's nomination.

Linked article by Tom Venesky, explains some of the concerns.

The nominee for the vacant Dist. 6 vacancy is a York area doctor, whose wife appears to be a close friend of Gov. Wolf's wife.

Now we have a bunny hugger on the BOC.

Do you think the recently closed pheasant farms might be converted to the raising of Flemish Giants?

Not even sure this even hunted in his life. Raising Flemish rabbits is not quite the same as managing wildlife.

Yeah, but he can give the PGC a good price on fencing for the deer exclosures.

Will his first act as a commissioner be to shorten the Cottontail season and eliminate the Snowshoe season altogether?

Bunny hugger may be right isn't Gov. Wolf known to support animal rights groups?

He was the selection. Why donít we give him a chance to show us what he is all about before we make decisions and comments on him? He might turn out to be a good Commissioner for all anyone knows at this point.

I hear they have the District 3 Commissioner selection narrowed down to three people. I donít know which three are still in the running though.
