Re: legislating wildlife.

Dumb law. How much money are they taking away from their own state in airfare, etc alone just for people going to hunt them. They leave out every single positive of the hunting of these animals.

Re: legislating wildlife.

More feel good nonsense by people who do not understand the issues.
As if we do not have enough problems with USF&W, now we will have to fight with the state dummies.
When was the last time you heard of anyone hunting pangolins, marine turtles, ...not much of a trophy and I am not aware of anywhere that would issue a CITIES permit. No one has sport hunted tigers in the last 40 years. USF&W will not allow import cheetahs although Namibia has a quota & are regularly shot by ranchers as a nuisance animal. Elephants are so numerous in southern Africa they will soon eat them selves out of house & home. Leopard numbers are strong & hunting is strictly controlled. Same can be said about lion & rhino but the cost puts it out of reach for most....figure $60K-$100K
