Gas leak on the game lands?

Id like to post a picture but I'm not sure how to upload one . I came across an oily substance on top of water as I was walking through a public game land along a gas line. For all I know its just a naturally occurring thing but I wanted to be sure that it wasn't a leak. If anyone can help with the uploading of the pic id appreciate it.

Re: Gas leak on the game lands?

If the sheen breaks apart in clumps when you stick your finger or piece of debris into it then it is bacterial in origin
